Privacy Policy

Last updated 10 July 2026

This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the tools that help us understand how the site is used. It also sets out how to make a request about your data.

01

Overview

This policy describes how we handle information collected through this website (the “Site”). In it, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the Site. We aim to collect only what we need, and to be clear about the third-party tools involved.

02

Information we collect

We collect two kinds of information:

  • Information you provide. If you contact us or submit a form, we receive what you choose to send — for example your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
  • Information collected automatically. As you use the Site, analytics tools record usage data such as the pages you view, interactions on those pages, approximate location, and details about your device and browser. This is described in the next section.
03

Analytics and tracking

We use third-party analytics tools to understand how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it. These tools set cookies or use similar technologies (such as local storage) and process data on our behalf. The tools we use are:

PostHogProduct analytics — understanding navigation, feature usage, and where the experience can be improved.Usage events, pages viewed, clicks and interactions, approximate location (derived from IP), and device/browser information.posthog.com/privacy
Google AnalyticsAggregate traffic measurement — audience trends, referral sources, and overall site performance.Pages viewed, session and referral data, approximate location (derived from IP), and device/browser information.policies.google.com/privacy

These providers process the data as described in their own privacy policies, linked above. We use the information in aggregate to understand and improve the Site.

04

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
  • understand how the Site is used and measure its performance in aggregate;
  • respond to enquiries and messages you send us; and
  • keep the Site secure and protect against misuse, and comply with our legal obligations.
05

Cookies and similar technologies

The analytics tools above rely on cookies and similar storage to recognise return visits and measure usage. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect how parts of the Site behave. Many browsers also offer a “do not track” signal and controls for clearing stored data.

06

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the analytics providers listed above, who process it on our behalf, and where we are required to do so by law or to protect our rights and the security of the Site.

07

Data retention

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Analytics data is retained according to the settings and default retention periods of the tools described above.

08

Your rights and data requests

Depending on where you are, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. We will honour valid requests as required by applicable law.

To make a data request — including to access, correct, or delete your information — email hello@booleanhq.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

09

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when the updated version is posted, and the date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
